Located only 2.5 hrs north of Sydney and 10 minutes away from Nelson Bay, SAMURAI YHA Backpackers Resort is a great spot to stop on your travels along the East Coast backpacker trail or to escape the city for a few days.

Well it is that time of year again to head to Port Stephens to catch a glimpse of the magnificent Humpback Whales as they cruise up the east coast. Check them out from the rocks at Boat Harbour or take one of the many fantastic Whale watch cruises that depart from Nelson Bay for about $50 for a 3 hour cruise...
